Washington Has Always Been Home For Dwayne Haskins
Many fans still don’t realize that being drafted by the Redskins was a sort of homecoming for Haskins. Even though he played his college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes, Haskins has a long history in Washington.
Haskins played his high school football career at Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland. He is very familiar with the D.C. area. Fans have even more of a reason to cheer for the young quarterback moving forward.
If the Redskins do end up changing their name, Haskins will get to steer the franchise that he grew up close to in their new journey. It’s a pretty unique opportunity to be a “hometown hero” for the young quarterback.
