The Philadelphia Eagles will begin their 2020 season with high hopes and expectations, as they look to repeat as NFC division champions. Most expect the division to come down to a battle between the Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys who have alternated winning the NFC East division for the last few years.

The Eagles have been dominant against the Washington Football Team recently and hope to gain an important win while facing a divisional foe.

Washington on the other side is in a rebuild. The Washington Football Team are looking for an offensive identity (as well as a name) to establish itself over the course of the 2020 season.

With Dwayne Haskins being named not only a starter but a team captain there are high hopes that the team can take a step forward and show that they are close to playing winning football again. A surprise victory against the Eagles would start the season off on a great note.

With the first game of the season after a crazy few months anything can happen, but here are the three most important things to watch for the Philadelphia Eagles entering their matchup with the Washington Football Team.
