Eagles: 4 bold predictions for Philadelphia in Week 2 against the Rams

Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles are heading into Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams in need of a big-time win. After falling to the Washington Football Team last week, it is imperative that the Eagles get back on track quickly.

Beating the Rams is easier said than done. Simply ask the Dallas Cowboys, who ended up losing up L.A. by a final score of 20-17 in Week 1. Sean McVay and company are looking to bounce back after a brutally disappointing season in 2019.

In Week 1, the Eagles failed to get things going. Wentz threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns, but also ended up with two interceptions. The running game couldn’t get going either with Boston Scott leading the team with 35 yards on nine carries.

Thankfully, Miles Sanders looks ready to come back in Week 2. Sanders is expected to have a major breakout season and will add a much-needed dynamic to the offense. Defensively, the Eagles need to slow down the running game and take advantage of the mistakes that Jared Goff makes.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at four bold predictions for the Eagles this week as they take on the Rams.
