The Philadelphia Eagles are in a two team race in the NFC East. Philadelphia and the Dallas Cowboys have alternated division titles over the last four years. After winning the NFC East with a 9-7 record in 2019, the Eagles are looking to become the first repeat champion since they won it four seasons in a row from 2001-2004.

The Eagles were eliminated by the Seattle Seahawks during wild card weekend in 2019. The game was all but over once Carson Wentz was forced to leave with an injury in the first quarter. The score did not end in a blowout but without their starting quarterback and no Nick Foles, the Eagles did not have a chance. 

Entering the offseason, the Eagles knew that their secondary would hold them back from winning a championship. General manager Howie Roseman addressed the huge need by acquiring Darius Slay from the Detroit Lions. This move will sure up the secondary in Philadelphia and give them a chance against big play offenses.
