2022 was a very successful season for Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown. He was traded to the City of Brotherly Love from the Tennessee Titans, who didn’t want to sign him to the kind of extension he was seeking. The Eagles had no qualms about doing so and were rewarded handsomely.

A.J. Brown put together the best season of his career in 2022. He caught 88 passes for 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns, playing in all 17 games. He helped elevate the performance of quarterback Jalen Hurts and the team as a whole, giving them a true No. 1 option in the passing game.

Despite the success that he found last season, A.J. Brown is expecting even bigger things in 2023. He has already gotten to work preparing and believes that he can get even better this upcoming season.

“There’s a lot I can improve on,” Brown said, via Josh Tolentino of the Philadelphia Inquirer. “I want to be a complete receiver. I can always work on getting in better shape, so I can have more opportunities. But I’m just trying to be a well-rounded receiver and do it all. I have goals of my own, and I’m definitely trying to achieve those. The sky’s the limit.”

That kind of attitude and work ethic is what separates A.J. Brown from some of his peers. Despite already reaching some impressive heights in his career as a two-time Pro Bowler, there is more that he is looking to achieve in the coming seasons.

A trickle-down effect should occur with the roster as players will follow the example that A.J. Brown has set this offseason as one of the leaders of the team. He is seeking more despite coming off of a career season that included breaking the Eagles’ single-season record for receiving yards in a season.

It is easy to find motivation as A.J. Brown and the Eagles got so close to winning a Super Bowl last season, losing 38-35 to the Kansas City Chiefs. The feeling of losing is something they do not want to replicate, so they are determined to go all the way this time around.

With team and personal goals set, now all that’s left is to achieve them. You can be sure A.J. Brown and his teammates will do everything in their power to reach them during the 2023 season.
