Emmanuel Sanders and the Bills could be a match made in heaven

Why Emmanuel Sanders Would Be A Great Target For Buffalo

Last season with the San Francisco 49ers, Sanders proved that he still has plenty of football left in the tank. Buffalo would not be risking anything to sign the veteran wide receiver. He is going to be looking for a lucrative deal, but he shouldn’t break the bank for whoever ends up getting him.

Sanders caught 66 passes for 869 yards and five touchdowns in 2019. Those numbers would have made the Buffalo offense even more dangerous.

Buffalo isn’t looking for a superstar at the wide receiver position. They don’t need someone to come in and be elite. All they need is a consistent receiver who can help take more pressure off of Josh Allen and rack up around 60 passes for 800 yards and a handful of touchdowns.

There are no other receivers that fit that role description better than Sanders this offseason.

While the Bills make a lot of sense, there will be quite a few teams that will look to sign Sanders. Even the 49ers would like to bring Sanders back in free agency. However, the Bills could offer Sanders an intriguing opportunity.

They can offer him good money, a starting role, and the opportunity to create something special for a diehard fan base. Being a big part of turning a franchise around adds on to a legacy. That could be appealing to the free agent receiver.

Expect to see the Bills at least touch base with Sanders this offseason. They may not end up getting him, but he would be their ideal wide receiver target.
