The 2020 NFL season will get underway this week and the Atlanta Falcons are getting off to a tough start. In Week 1, they will have to take on the Seattle Seahawks. Thankfully, they will be able to do so with home-field advantage.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, fans are going to be sparse this season. Some teams, including the Falcons, will not be able to have any fans in the stands to start the season. That means that home-field advantage will not be what it has been over the years.
Atlanta went through a busy offseason that saw a lot of players come in and a lot go out. Among the new faces is star running back Todd Gurley, who is hoping to resurrect his career with the Falcons following a concerning knee injury. Gurley’s addition gives the Falcons’ offense a big three of Gurley, Matt Ryan, and Julio Jones.
On the other hand, the Falcons did lose talented tight end Austin Hooper. Devonta Freeman is also gone, although he has yet to sign with a new team.
All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three bold predictions for the Falcons’ offense in Week 1 against the Seahawks.
