Falcons QB Matt Ryan is joined by only Peyton Manning in exclusive stat

The Atlanta Falcons have benefited from high-level quarterback play since using the No. 3 pick in the 2008 NFL Draft to select Matt Ryan. After 12 seasons, he has managed to build an impressive resume.

Other quarterbacks have undoubtedly earned more hardware than Ryan over the last decade, but he’s accomplishments have been impressive. He has earned four Pro Bowl appearances and in 2016 was named the NFL Most Valuable Player and NFL Offensive Player of the Year.

One of the more impressive elements of Ryan’s tenure with the Falcons has been his consistency even though the same can’t be said for Atlanta’s win column. He has thrown for over 4,000 yards each season since 2011 and at least 20 touchdown throws since his sophomore campaign.

Considering the fact Ryan has only missed three regular-season games in his career, the totals he has achieved have added up to surprising levels. Some may be genuinely surprised to see what the Falcons quarterback has achieved when considering the team’s lack of post-season results.
