Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills were one of the most run-heavy teams in 2019, averaging 29.1 run plays per game (sixth-most in the NFL). However, that could be subject to slightly change in 2020 with the addition of Stefon Diggs to Buffalo’s passing attack.
Entering next season, Devin Singletary is expected to seize the reins as the Bills’ featured running back following the departure of Frank Gore in free agency. While Gore is on his way out, Buffalo took Zack Moss in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
As a result, it remains to be seen how the Bills divvy up the backfield duties in 2020. Seeing that Singletary wasn’t utilized much near the goal line a season ago, Moss will likely be used in short-yardage situations. Besides short-yardage situations, it’s unclear how much Moss will play with Singletary needing touches too. With Singletary and Moss cutting into each other’s workload, neither of them appear to be safe options in fantasy football.
