Fantasy Football: 3 backfields to avoid for the 2020 season

Washington ?’s

The No. 1 team on this list shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. In the upcoming season, the Washington (new name that hasn’t been decided yet) have a backfield that has plenty of concerns. Will Derrius Guice remain healthy? Is Adrian Peterson going to continue to be featured in the offense?

Due to injuries, Guice has managed to play in only five games in his first two seasons in the NFL. But there’s no doubt that he’s flashed plenty of potential when he does suit up. Therefore, if Guice is healthy, the team that doesn’t have a new name yet is going to deploy him as the starter.

Besides Guice and Peterson, Washington also has Bryce Love and Peyton Barber in their backfield. Given the uncertainty surrounding the backfield in the nation’s capital, it’s probably best we just avoid it in fantasy football, and allow everyone else to guess what could transpire in Washington’s rushing attack in 2020.
