Fantasy Football: 3 late-round wide receivers to consider drafting

After having Jacoby Brissett leading the charge at quarterback in 2019, the Indianapolis Colts chose to sign Philip Rivers this offseason. In light of that, each wide receiver in Indianapolis’ passing attack is going to have more value in fantasy football than they did a season ago.

Of course, T.Y. Hilton is still the No. 1 wideout for the Colts and is most likely going to finish as the team’s most productive wide receiver in 2020. However, there’s an argument to be had that you should take Michael Pittman Jr. instead of Parris Campbell in fantasy drafts. In the 2020 NFL Draft, Indianapolis took Pittman in the second round to add some more firepower to the offense.

To cap off a spectacular career at USC, Pittman hauled in 101 receptions, 1,275 yards, and 11 touchdowns in 2019 while showing off his vertical receiving skills. Last season, the Colts attempted only 32 passes a game (25th in the NFL). Seeing that Rivers is now manning the offense, Pittman and the other wide receivers should see plenty of opportunities to thrive in 2020.
