2. At Least 50 Receptions
As Brady joins a new team in this most unique of offseasons, Gronkowski is the one guy he has history with.
On the low end, let’s project five targets per game for Gronkowski this year. That books him for 80 targets over 16 games, with some wiggle room built in for more volume (which seems likely) and/or a missed game or two.
Gronkowski’s catch rate hovered in the 60-65 percent range in the last five seasons he has played. 80 targets (which again, might be low) at a 62 percent catch rate comes out at 49.6 catches. More targets, or a better catch rate, lines up more than 49.6 receptions.
Assuming he’s healthy the majority of the season, book Gronkowski for at least 50 receptions.
