Fantasy Football: 3 RBs that are currently overvalued in drafts

When it comes to fantasy football, the running back position is regarded as the most important position to target, which is contrary to how they are viewed outside of fantasy football. Loading up on running backs has proven to be an effective way to earn bragging rights over friends and family in recent years.

Similar to other positions though, finding value at the running back position can be crucial to having success in fantasy football. Being able to have top-tier options at running back can lead to fruitful results. But it’s the running backs that are taken in the mid-to-late rounds that can be league-winners.

For instance, Austin Ekeler was the 27th running back off of the board in 2019 drafts with an ADP of 81 in PPR leagues, according to MyFantasyLeague. Due to the holdout of Melvin Gordon, Ekeler was able to finish the season as the fourth highest-scoring running back in fantasy football last season.

While finding the next Ekeler will be no easy task, there are some running backs that could lend sizable returns in 2020. On the other hand, there are running backs that could fall short of returning value at their current ADP.

Let’s take a deeper look at which running backs are currently overvalued at their current ADP using MyFantasyLeague’s 2020 ADP results.
