Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
Selected one spot after Reagor, the Minnesota Vikings took LSU’s Justin Jefferson with the hopes that he’ll be able to come right in and fill the vacant hole left by Stefon Diggs, who is now a Buffalo Bill.
Justin Jefferson ran 78% of his routes last year out of the slot, so he’s not the perfect fit with Adam Thielen still on the roster, but he should still see a good amount of targets from Kirk Cousins. Not to mention, Thielen has had nagging back issues over the past few seasons and he’ll be 30 years old heading into this season. The chances of him playing all 16 games seems unlikely, leaving the door wide open for Jefferson to cement himself as the focal point of Minnesota’s passing attack moving forward.
If Jefferson can come anywhere close to the insane production we saw out of him in his final year at LSU, he’ll be a great option off your bench in fantasy this season.
