Fantasy Football: 5 Bounce-Back Must Starts in Week 2

No. 5: Chargers D/ST

Speaking of that Chargers defense, any who owned and started L.A.’s D/ST on the road against the Chiefs in Week 1 was burned badly.

It didn’t cost me a Week 1 victory, thank goodness, but it certainly raised eyebrows. Especially after the Chargers allowed those 38 points, 362 yards, generated just one sack and failed to register a single turnover.

Yup, minus-3 points in my standard-scoring PPR league.

Owned in 83.2 percent of ESPN leagues, there are likely a few of you looking for a strong bounce-back performance from the L.A. defenders. And while EDGE Joey Bosa remains out with a foot injury, the Chargers have more than a favorable Week 2 matchup on the table as they travel to take on the Bills in Buffalo.

Yeah, that same Bills team that managed a measly three points and 153 yards in their 47-3 Week 1 drubbing at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens. That same Bills team with a quarterbacking tandem of Nathan Peterman and the rookie, Josh Allen, who reside behind arguably the worst offensive line in the NFL right now.

Get the Chargers D/ST back in your starting lineup. Heck, it might not be a bad idea to roll with whatever D/ST is playing Buffalo this season until proven otherwise.
