3. Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
Jonathan Taylor was drafted in most fantasy football leagues prior to the season. With the injury to Marlon Mack, Taylor went from a fringe starter to a back that is starting in all formats. This will continue for Week 4 through the rest of the season.
Taylor broke out in Week 2 against the Vikings. He finished with 101 yards and a touchdown. He got in the end zone again in Week 3. Taylor is getting carries at all levels of the field. He is going to get red zone carries but he is not a touchdown-dependent play in fantasy football.
Taylor is capable in the passing game but he has not been used in that way over the last two weeks. He did finish with six catches for 67 yards in the opener.
The Colts traded up to select Taylor in the draft. They knew his value and planned to use him a lot within the offense. Now that he is at the top of the depth chart, Taylor is a must-play every week in fantasy football leagues.
