5. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
This is not a list that Rodgers is used to being on over the course of his career. He has put up incredible numbers but that does not always translate over into fantasy football. In Week 1 against the Minnesota Vikings, Rodgers will be a fringe starter.
The Vikings lost some talent on the defensive end from 2019. They will feature a new secondary but they also added one of the best pass rushers in the game. Minnesota made a trade for Yannick Ngakoue and he will now be paired with Danielle Hunter. This is going to be a low scoring affair.
Both sides know each other well and that favors the defense. The Packers do not have many weapons on the offensive side of the ball. Rodgers is limited with who he can throw the ball to.
There are many factors laid out as to why Rodgers is a risky start. He has gone from a first round pick to a late round pick because of his drop off in fantasy. A difficult matchup in Week 1 will not help his 2020 campaign.
