4. Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams
Jared Goff is one of the biggest question marks in the league entering 2020. He looked like an MVP candidate during the very first years with Sean McVay but that all took a step back last season. The Rams are without Todd Gurley and will feature rookie Cam Akers in the backfield.
In Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys, the Rams could struggle. This is not an ideal first game for Los Angeles. The Cowboys are expected to be one of the top teams in the NFC and are improved defensively.
Mike Nolan is the defensive coordinator in Dallas and will have some new weapons to work with. It is obvious that Goff is going to have to be successful for the Rams to have a good season. Against Dallas, it seems as though the ceiling is low.
Goff will put up decent numbers on paper, but they will not be ones you want to rely on in fantasy football. Goff has to prove that last season was a fluke and that he can thrive under McVay in the offense.
