4. Le’Veon Bell, New York Jets
Le’Veon Bell completely transformed the running back position in fantasy football and was one of the top players for many years. This has changed since he sat out in 2018 and signed with the Jets. Entering Week 1, the Jets have a tough matchup that does not favor Bell.
These two teams met to begin last season and it was a strong outing for Bell. He finished with 17 carries for 60 yards and added six catches for 32 yards and a touchdown.
The 2020 season is a question mark. No one knows. What Adam Gase has planned for this offense and how he will use his running back, one that he was not in favor of signing.
Bell lands on this list because of the little confidence in the Jets. The Bills are a tough matchup for Bell. Their defense should dominate in this one leading them to an early lead. The Jets might not be able to run the ball much. If you believe in Bell getting touches as a receiver, then he might be worth a play. Otherwise, he is a flex option at best.
