2. Odell Beckham Jr., Cleveland Browns
Is there a team in the league less reliable than the Browns? They are difficult to figure out and that goes for fantasy football as well. Beckham was a staple at WR1 during his days with the New York Giants but that did not carry over to his first year in Cleveland.
Heading into Week 1, Beckham Jr. owners should proceed with caution. Let’s be real, many owners are going to start him. This does not mean that it is the correct move. He is risky because of his quarterback, his new head coach, and his tough matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
In 2019, Beckham finished with and a touchdown against Baltimore. These were his numbers in two games.
Beckham is the headliner on the Browns, paired with Jarvis Landry. The secondary in Baltimore will not give many easy completions to these two receivers. They will focus on taking Beckham out of the game and this makes him a risky play.
