Fantasy Football: 5 quarterbacks poised to take a step back in 2020

1. Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans

Tannehill landed with the Tennessee Titans last year, and once he got his opportunity he seized it. Marcus Mariota was finally benched during a shutout loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 6, and Tannehill started every game from that point on.

Tannehill led the league in passer rating (117.5), yards per attempt (9.6), yards per completion (13.6) and adjusted yards per attempt (10.2) last year. To says those numbers are not repeatable is an understatement.

From Week 7-Week 17 last year, encompassing his 10 starts, Tannehill was QB3 in fantasy. Another mark in the unsustainable category.

Tannehill’s ADP is right where it should be, in QB2 range (QB21 or QB23 via Fantasy Football Calculator). But there’s no mistaking a finish like that will be a significant step back this year.
