2. Malcolm Brown, Los Angeles Rams

Was it going to be rookie Cam Akers or Darrell Henderson in Los Angeles? In a Week 1 victory against the Dallas Cowboys, it turned out to be Malcolm Brown.

Brown carried the ball 18 times compared to 14 from Akers. Brown totaled 79 yards on the ground and added three catches for 31 yards. Brown boosted his fantasy football value by getting the goal line carries and finding the end zone twice.

The Rams made it clear that Akers will get a chance but he will not be given the title of premiere back just yet. Brown fit perfectly into the Rams’ offense and that means he is going to continue to get touches.

If these touches are around the goal line, Brown is a valuable add. This is an offense, led by Sean McVay and Jared Goff, that is going to score some points and have the ball quite a bit.
