Fantasy Football: 5 sleeper waiver wire targets following Week 1 action

It was a miserable season opener for the Colts. They scored just three points in the second half against the Jaguars and Marlon Mack suffered a torn Achilles. This is a huge blow for fantasy football owners but they could capitalize by adding Hines.

Hines has never been a reliable back carrying the ball. He has been used mostly in the passing game and this was true again in Week 1. Hines caught eight passes for 45 yards and a touchdown.

The Colts did not have a good game on the ground at all. Jonathan Taylor led the team with nine carries but he was able to total just 22 yards. Hines actually led the team with 28 rushing yards and was able to score another touchdown.

This is an unfortunate situation for Hines to see an increased role, but it is always next man up in the NFL. With Mack out for the season, Taylor will get most of the carries but Hines will be used in passing downs and long yardage situations.
