Fantasy football owners around the world are always on the lookout for sleepers on the waiver wire. Like an owl stalking its pray night, fantasy football owners lurk on the waiver wire trying to find the steal of the week.
With bye weeks now becoming a factor as well as injuries, productive wide receivers are very hard to come by.
For example, those who drafted Michael Thomas in the first round have yet to see him play a full game. When he was finally able to return, he got suspended for getting into a fight at practice. While that just labels itself as poor luck, it is frustrating, especially you find yourself in a must win situation.
Another example is AJ Green. Green was so quiet throughout the first couple weeks of the season, which led him to either getting benched or cut. Then, against the Colts, he has a great game and is now deemed by ESPN fantasy football experts as a “must start”.
If fantasy football has taught us anything, it is that sometimes, it is better to just close your eyes and pick a player who you will input into your starting lineup.
Luckily for you, I am about to tell you who are five sleeper wide receivers to start in Week 7.
