Fantasy Football: 5 sleeper wide receiver plays in Week 7

The Arizona Cardinals offense is slowly starting to piece things together. It seemed as though, through the first couple of games, Kyler Murray was only throwing to WR DeAndre Hopkins. Over the last three weeks, Christian Kirk has been more involved in the passing game.

In terms of fantasy football value, he has recorded 3 straight games with over 10 points (in PPR leagues). In fact, he is coming off a breakout performance against the Dallas Cowboys that made him one hot commodity on the waiver wire market. Kirk made it look easy versus the Cowboys catching just 2 passes for 86 yards, scoring touchdowns on both. He finished the game with 22.6 fantasy points.

Kirk displayed his speed on the vertical route that saw him reach 21.21 MPH on an 80-yard touchdown pass. While many feel the hype on Kirk is a result of being a prisoner of the moment, others feel that Kirk is finally finding his footing in this offense.

In Week 7, if you are looking for a FLEX or WR3 position to fill due to a bye week or injury, I would suggest starting Kirk. This week, the Arizona Cardinals will be facing the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks currently rank 32nd in pass defense. With the way Kirk has been playing, expect another nice fantasy day from him.
