Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals
Tee Higgins has been great for the Bengals. The Clemson wideout has developed good chemistry with his fellow rookie QB and it is showing on the field. Higgins has bursted onto the scene in Cincinnati and the Bengals are very pleased with how the 2nd round wideout is playing.
In terms of fantasy football value, Tee Higgins was either drafted very late or not drafted at all. With AJ Green and Tyler Boyd already on the depth chart, not too many were expecting Higgins to be as effective as he has been this early in the year. Higgins has recorded 4 straight games with over 10 points (in PPR league). Last week against the Colts, Higgins recorded 6 catches for 125 yards.
Higgins displayed his great speed on this 67 yard play. On the year, Higgins currently is tied for 2nd most receptions on the team, has the 2nd most yardage on the team and leads the team in touchdowns. Higgins has 22 catches for 339 yards and 2 touchdowns. Similar to Christian Kirk, this week, he will be going up against a weak secondary.
The Cleveland Browns currently have the 30th worse pass defense in the NFL and that points to a very favorable matchup for the rookie. The first time they met was in Week 2 while Higgins was still learning this offense. He was targeted 6 times, of which he caught 3 for 35 yards. Higgins has shown significant improvement from that point and is worth starting at the FLEX position this week.
