Jamison Crowder, New York Jets

I know, seeing a Jets player in this thread comes as a major surprise. But, the only good thing for this Jets team has been WR Jamison Crowder. Crowder missed two games earlier in the season, but since his return, he has proved his worth to not only the Jets, but fantasy football owners.

Jamison Crowder is currently owned in 97% of fantasy leagues and starts in 71% of those. Upon his return from injury, Crowder has been one of the best fantasy WR’s in the league. With ultimately no other weapons, the Jets offense has no one to turn to but Crowder.

In a PPR league, the one stat you want to focus on is targets. As illustrated in the above tweet, Crowder leads the NFL in targets since his return. While he has been limited during practice this week with a groin issue, he should be good to go Sunday against Buffalo. While I am not expecting a close game, I do think Crowder will be able to produce some solid fantasy value this week as a WR2.

Remember, the Jets opened the season against the Bills in which Crowder had a dominant game. He racked up 24.5 fantasy points, catching 7 balls for 115 yards and scoring 1 touchdown. With no Le’Veon Bell and little to none other options, expect Crowder to get a lot of looks his way this Sunday.
