Some matchups need to be selected because of who the teams are playing, and this is a prime example of that. The Philadelphia Eagles have great offensive weapons and a good veteran quarterback.

Normally, this would peg them higher up the list, but concerns with injury and regression have kept many of the Eagles starters from being drafted higher.

The biggest benefit of Jackson this week comes from playing the Washington Football Team. Washington was terrible last year on defense and while adding Chase Young is going to help tremendously, they still have a porous pass defense. Carson Wentz should be able to alter protections enough to give him time to throw the ball, and when he does there is a good chance it will be to Jackson.

With Jackson coming back from injury he can be had at a great value in most leagues and could be primed for a breakout game for the Eagles in Week 1. He has flown under the radar in many fantasy football leagues so that only helps.
