Tua Tagovailoa will be remembered as one of the most prolific college quarterbacks of this generation, putting up video game type numbers and only losing two games in his entire career. The Miami Dolphins selected him with the hope that he’ll become their long awaited franchise quarterback.
It’s been a revolving door at the quarterback position for the Dolphins for essentially the past two decades. Tua certainly has the potential to buck that trend and cement himself as the face of the Dolphins.
From a fantasy football standpoint, there’s a lot to like about Tua’s game and how it may translate to the NFL field. He’s a very efficient passer and rarely turns the ball over — his 69.3 collegiate career completion percentage along with his 87 career passing touchdowns to just 11 interceptions reflect that.
His efficiency is great, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be a fantasy stud in his rookie campaign.
