On Friday, ESPN’s’ Adam Schefter reported Mitch Trubisky was expected to start Week 1 for the Chicago Bears. On Sunday, the team made it official.
Trubisky beat out offseason acquisition Nick Foles, and will at least start Week 1 against the Detroit Lions. The No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 will be on the shortest of leashes though, and one of the safest NFL bets this year is both quarterbacks starting at least a handful of games for the Bears.
But let’s focus on Trubisky. Could he be valuable to fantasy owners in 2020?
