Fantasy Football: Outlook for second-year RBs in the 2020 season

Devin Singletary

2020 projections: 168 carries, 795 yards, four rushing touchdowns 36 receptions, 310 yards, two receiving touchdowns

In his rookie campaign with the Buffalo Bills, Devin Singletary was inclined to share touches with veteran Frank Gore. The third-round pick out of Florida Atlantic would rush for 775 yards (fourth-most among rookies) and two touchdowns on the ground.

Last season, the Bills averaged 29.1 run plays per game, which was the sixth-most in the NFL. However, the blockbuster trade involving Stefon Diggs could prompt Buffalo to put the ball in Josh Allen’s hands a bit more in 2020.

Not to mention, even though Singletary is expected to see an expanded role, the Bills took Zack Moss in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. With all that being said, Singletary — and the entire Buffalo backfield — might be worth avoiding in fantasy football for the upcoming season.
