While Diontae Johnson and Darius Slayton won’t be featured as one of the notable second-year wide receivers in this article, both of them showed some potential last season.
As a third-round pick for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Johnson managed to tally 59 receptions for 680 yards and five touchdowns in 2019. On the other hand, Slayton would contribute 40 receptions for 740 yards and eight touchdowns despite being a fifth-round selection by the New York Giants.
