Last year will go down as a lost one for Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. He suffered an elbow injury in Week 2, and missed the rest of the season. Being 38 years old and coming off significant surgery is not great for his rebound chances in 2020.
The Steelers have a good offensive line, a solid wide receiver trio in JuJu Smith-Schuster, Diontae Johnson and James Washington. Rookie Chase Claypool is a promising addition, and free agent signing Eric Ebron will form a nice tight end duo with Vance McDonald.
Roethlisberger led the league in passing yards in 2018 (5,129 yards), as he also led the league in completions and attempts. He was QB3 in fantasy, and in 2017 he was QB10 (4,251 yards, 28 passing touchdowns, three rushing touchdowns). Going back to 2012, he also had top-10-12 fantasy quarterback finishes in 2016, 2014 and 2013.
With that being said, let’s dive into what Roethlisberger’s fantasy football outlook looks like for the 2020 NFL season.
