Fantasy Football outlook for the 49ers’ wide receivers in 2020

It is vastly important to have a reliable cast of wide receivers when playing fantasy football, especially when you’re league enforces points-per-reception scoring. Therefore, it may be worth keeping an eye on the wide receivers of the San Francisco 49ers.

While San Francisco doesn’t boast an extensively deep group of wide receivers, there are a couple of guys that could be relevant in fantasy football next season. After a stellar rookie season in 2019, it appears that Deebo Samuel will assume the reins as the No. 1 wideout for the 49ers in 2020.

Besides Samuel, San Francisco selected Brandon Aiyuk with the No. 25 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Given the 49ers’ choice to take Aiyuk in the first round, the Arizona State product figures to have a prominent role with the team as a rookie.

Aside from Samuel and Aiyuk, San Francisco has an allotment of wide receivers that could contribute to the offense next season. Taking that into account, let’s take a deeper dive into the fantasy football outlook for the 49ers’ wide receivers in 2020.
