Fantasy Football outlook for the 49ers’ wide receivers in 2020

The other guys

Behind Samuel and Aiyuk, the 49ers have a few guys that could see time in the offense next season. First and foremost, Kendrick Bourne should absolutely slot into the No. 3 spot on San Francisco’s depth chart in 2020. Despite a limited role in 2019, Bourne made the most of his opportunities, snagging 30 receptions for 358 yards and five touchdowns.

All five of his touchdowns came in the red zone and he averaged 2.13 fantasy points per target (14th among wide receivers). Aside from daily fantasy football leagues, Bourne isn’t worth adding on your roster in 2020.

After Bourne, guys like Jalen Hurd, Richie James, Dante Pettis, and Trent Taylor will battle it out for the rest of the roster spots. Barring an unforeseen role change for any of them, all of them can be avoided in fantasy football drafts.
