The Seattle Seahawks were evidently searching for a veteran running back this offseason and agreed to a deal with Carlos Hyde not long ago. Upon Hyde’s signing, many fantasy football players are wondering how Seattle’s backfield is going to shakeup in the upcoming season.
Seeing that Hyde is coming off of his first 1,000-yard season, he figures to have a decent-sized role with the Seahawks. Still, it remains to be seen how Seattle decides to divvy up the touches once the 2020 NFL season gets underway.
Besides Hyde, Seattle has a backfield that also deploys Chris Carson, Rashaad Penny, and Travis Homer. Not to mention, the Seahawks also added DeeJay Dallas in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Given that, the decision to sign Hyde suddenly gives Seattle a crowded backfield group heading into next season. So what is the fantasy football outlook for the Seahawks running backs following the signing of Hyde this offseason?
