WRs to start in Week 15

Washington’s Terry McLaurin (vs. Seahawks): The pass defense of the Seattle Seahawks has improved in recent weeks, but mainly because they’ve faced struggling passing attacks in the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and the Jets. While the Washington Football Team doesn’t have an explosive passing game either, Terry McLaurin is the best WR the Seahawks have faced in weeks. McLaurin has struggled in back-to-back weeks, scoring a total of 7.8 fantasy points in the past two weeks. It should be noted that both of those came against the Steelers and the San Francisco 49ers. He now gets the Seahawks, who have still allowed 46.12 fantasy points and 2,819 receiving yards to WRs, which are both the most in the NFL.

Rams’ Cooper Kupp/Robert Woods (vs. Jets): Yes, the Rams are likely going to resort to running the ball often to quickly dispose of the Jets in Week 15. But that doesn’t mean Goff and the aerial attack won’t do some damage still. The Rams are one of the few teams in the league that have two WRs (Cooper Kupp/Robert Woods) that are garnering 50 percent of the team’s target share. To be exact, Kupp and Woods have received a whopping 216 of the 454 (47.5 percent) of the targets for Los Angeles this season. In addition, New York now boasts the 32nd ranked pass defense in terms of DVOA and six touchdowns to WRs in the past four weeks (tied for second-most in the NFL in that span).

49ers’ Brandon Aiyuk (vs. Cowboys): Brandon Aiyuk has been on an absolute tear in fantasy football in recent weeks. The rookie first-round pick has posted 42.4 fantasy points in the last two games for the 49ers, which is the fourth-most among WRs in that span. What is even more impressive for Aiyuk is that he’s gotten an eye-popping 49 targets in his past four games. His massive target share should continue with Deebo Samuel sidelined for the foreseeable future. And luckily for Aiyuk, he gets the Dallas Cowboys in Week 15, who have surrendered 40.53 fantasy points per week (seventh-most in the NFL) and 22 receiving touchdowns (most in the NFL) to WRs.

Other WRs to consider in Week 15: Titans’ Corey Davis (vs. Lions), Colts’ T.Y. Hilton (vs. Texans), Jaguars’ Keelan Cole Sr. (vs. Ravens), Ravens’ Marquise Brown (vs. Jaguars), Lions’ Marvin Jones Jr. (if Kenny Golladay remains out vs. Titans)

WRs to sit in Week 15

Any Jets’ WRs (vs. Rams): Sometimes it’s worth taking a leap of faith on playing one of the WRs on the Jets in fantasy football, especially in daily fantasy. But this isn’t one of those weeks. New York squares off with Los Angeles, who have the No. 3 ranked pass defense in terms of DVOA. Not to mention, led by Jalen Ramsey, the Rams have held opposing WRs to a league-low 29.62 fantasy points per week and a league-low seven receiving touchdowns.

Saints’ Emmanuel Sanders (vs. Chiefs): It remains to be seen whether or not the Saints are able to get Drew Brees back at quarterback in Week 15 versus the Chiefs. Regardless of Brees’ status, Emmanuel Sanders is a risky play in fantasy football. Sanders scored 13.8 fantasy points in Week 14, which was his first game of scoring 14+ fantasy points since Week 5. Provided that, some people may believe he’s due to continue producing against Kansas City in an assumed shootout. With that being said, the Chiefs have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per week (30.95) and the fewest receiving yards (1,729) to WRs this season.
