Joe Burrow Post-Week 1 Fantasy Outlook

In Week 2, Burrow gets a Thursday night matchup against the Cleveland Browns. The Browns were done in by Lamar Jackson in Week 1, to the tune of 275 passing yards and three touchdowns along with 45 rushing yards (27.5 fantasy points; ESPN scoring).

Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles looks favorable too, if only because of a possible negative game script and a vulnerable secondary. Then Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars is another obvious soft matchup.

A tough one will come against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5. Then it gets a little easier in Week 6 (Indianapolis Colts), before a repeat date against the Browns in Week 7. Before a Week 9 bye, Burrow will get a tough matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Week 8.

Burrow is owned in 47.9 percent of ESPN leagues as of Tuesday afternoon, while he’s far more widely owned in Yahoo! (75 percent). Burrow is a below the radar waiver wire add this week in leagues with 12 or more teams.
