The Eagles front office clearly wanted to add speed to their offense, and they were able to achieve that this offseason. Their first round pick, Jalen Reagor out of TCU, should be a big play weapon from the start in Philly.
We can’t forget that the offense will get some speed just from the return of DeSean Jackson, who missed essentially the entire 2019 season. If he can come back and simply be a deep threat for Wentz and this Eagles offense, it’ll open up everything else underneath.
The team still has two very good tight ends in Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert, along with two young promising running backs in Miles Sanders and Boston Scott.
This offense is loaded with talent. There’s no reason we shouldn’t see a huge year out of Wentz. Don’t be surprised if he goes over 30 passing touchdowns this season and sets a new career high in passing yards.
He may get slept on by some pundits and fans around the league, but Carson Wentz is a premiere talent at the quarterback position. He could surprise a lot of fantasy owners with some of his outputs this year.
