Fantasy Football: Predicting the 2020 season for Davante Adams

Despite missing four games last year, Davante Adams led the Green Bay Packers in catches (83), targets (127) and receiving yards (997) by hefty margins. On a per-game basis in full PPR fantasy scoring, he was WR6.

Despite the 2020 draft class of wide receivers being regarded as one of the deepest we’ve seen, the Packers did not take one. Devin Funchess was signed in free agency, but coming off an injury-shortened season with the Indianapolis Colts he’s not a needle mover. Allen Lazard looked good for stretches late last season and has the makings of a fantasy sleeper, but his ceiling seems low overall.

So Adams is clearly going to be Aaron Rodgers’ favorite target again this year. As such, assuming health, he feels like a lock to finish as a top-five fantasy wide receiver.

Here’s a fantasy prediction and projection for Adams in 2020.
