1. Michael Thomas. New Orleans Saints
Just because it’s obvious doesn’t make it untrue. Thomas led the NFL in catches (149, also a single-season league record), targets (185) and yards (1,725) last year, with a running back-like 80.5 percent catch rate. He also led the league in catches in 2018 (125)
The Saints signed Emmanuel Sanders in free agency, so there is now a legit second fiddle at wide receiver to go with Thomas. The idea Taysom Hill will take Drew Brees off the field a fair amount more this year is also not ideal.
However, any negatives with Thomas are nitpicks more than huge concerns. As you start to seriously prepare for your fantasy football drafts, there is a case for him to be the No. 1 overall pick in full PPR.
