Fantasy Football: Start Em’ Sit Em’ Recommendations for Week 10

USA TODAY Sports

QBs to Start in Week 10

Chargers’ Philip Rivers (vs. Raiders): Philip Rivers has been one of the best fantasy QBs this season. Rivers is currently the 13th best fantasy QB, even though he had a bye week in Week 8. He’s only had one week where he had less than 17 points scored. This week he faces an Oakland Raiders team, that just got lit up by Nick Mullens (San Francisco 49ers third-string QB).

Browns’ Baker Mayfield (vs. Falcons): Baker Mayfield has been solid the past few weeks, at least in fantasy terms. Mayfield has three straight games of throwing two or more touchdowns. On Sunday, he will be going up against a struggling Atlanta Falcons defense. The Falcons allow the third most points to opposing QBs this season.

Eagles’ Carson Wentz (vs. Cowboys): Carson Wentz has continually looked better as this season has unfolded. Wentz has managed to score 18 or more fantasy points in five straight weeks. The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off their bye week, while adding Golden Tate at the trade deadline. They face a Dallas Cowboys defense that allowed Marcus Mariota to score 22.8 points in Week 9.

Other QBs I Like: Buccaneers’ Ryan Fitzpatrick (vs. Redskins), Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger (vs. Panthers), Rams’ Jared Goff (vs. Seahawks)

QBs to Sit in Week 10

Seahawks’ Russell Wilson (vs. Rams): I know this is a pick I may get some backlash for. Russell Wilson is an option this week for anyone, but I’d only consider him if you absolutely have no other option. Wilson has struggled over his career against the Los Angeles Rams. He holds a career record of 6-7 against the Rams and has been sacked a staggering, 51 times in those 13 games.

Cowboys’ Dak Prescott (vs. Eagles): Dak Prescott is one of the QBs I like the least this week. The Cowboys are a mess, getting embarrassed 28-14 on Monday night against the Tennessee Titans. This week, he faces an Eagles team that he’s always struggled with. Prescott has completed just 53.7% of his passes, averaged 162 yards, less than one touchdown and one interception in the four games that he’s faced the Eagles.
