Fantasy Football: Start Em’ Sit Em’ Recommendations for Week 10

USA TODAY Sports

RBs to Start in Week 10

Browns’ Nick Chubb (vs. Falcons): Nick Chubb is continually getting a large share of the carries in the Cleveland Browns backfield. Chubb has 18 or more carries in three straight weeks. Last week, he had his best performance, scoring 16 fantasy points. This week, he faces the Falcons, who allow 30.8 points per game to RBs this year.

Falcons’ Tevin Coleman (vs. Browns): Tevin Coleman has been part of a timeshare with Ito Smith, but has still performed well. Coleman is out-touching Smith 31 to 20 in the Falcons’ past two games. Coleman is featured more in the passing game, making him more viable than Smith. He faces a Browns defense that has allowed 13 total touchdowns to RBs (tied for second most in the NFL).

Bears’ Jordan Howard (vs. Lions): It’s hard to trust Jordan Howard this year, but he’s scoring touchdowns. The thing that hurts Howard, is his lack of touches in the passing game. Howard has just one reception in the past five games for the Chicago Bears. The good thing is, he faces a Detroit Lions team, who has allowed the second most rushing yards to RBs this year. Him and Tarik Cohen should be nice starts this week.

Other RBs I Like: Redskins’ Adrian Peterson (vs. Buccaneers), Packers’ Aaron Jones (vs. Dolphins), Cardinals’ David Johnson (vs. Chiefs)

RBs to Sit in Week 10

Lions’ Kerryon Johnson (vs. Bears): Kerryon Johnson was a diamond in the rough for the past few weeks, before Week 9. In Week 9, Theo Riddick returned from injury, essentially removing Johnson from the aerial attack. Johnson had just 7.4 points in Week 9. This week, he squares off against a stingy Bears defense, that has yet to allow a rushing touchdown this season.

Seahawks’ Chris Carson (vs. Rams): Chris Carson is seemingly losing touches to Mike Davis as we continue the season. Yes, he left last week’s game with an injury, but Davis has continually vultured touches from Carson. With the game script likely seeing the Seattle Seahawks playing from behind against the Rams, Carson is hard to trust this week. He is also questionable to play on Sunday, to make matters worse.
