Fantasy Football: Start Em’ Sit Em’ Recommendations for Week 10

USA TODAY Sports

WRs to Start in Week 10

Bengals’ Tyler Boyd (vs. Saints): With the injury to A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd will likely be targeted even more. Boyd has been a nice find this year, scoring 21 or more points in five weeks this year. If Green does indeed miss time, his stats could inflate. He faces a New Orleans Saints defense who allows the most points to opposing WRs this year.

Browns’ Jarvis Landry (vs. Falcons): Jarvis Landry has always been one of the most consistent PPR WRs in fantasy. Landry has managed to score 11 or more points in eight out of the nine games he has played in. He’s one of the safest picks in fantasy, with a nice match up this week. The Falcons have allowed 13 touchdowns to WRs this year, which is third most in the NFL.

Patriots’ Josh Gordon (vs. Titans): Josh Gordon is becoming a favorite target of Tom Brady more and more as the weeks go on. Gordon had his best performance of the year last week, scoring 24 points against the Green Bay Packers. In Week 10, Gordon faces a Titans defense that allows the ninth most points to WRs.

Other WRs I Like: Panthers’ Devin Funchess (vs. Steelers), Saints’ Tre’Quan Smith (vs. Bengals), Packers’ Marquez Valdes-Scantling (vs. Dolphins)

WRs to Sit in Week 10

Jets’ Robby Anderson (vs. Bills): Robby Anderson is the definition of a boom or bust WR in fantasy. Anderson has been mostly bust this year though, scoring less than 10 points in six out of the eight games he’s played. What makes things worse, is Sam Darnold will miss Week 10 with an injury. The Buffalo Bills are also good against the pass, allowing the fifth least amount of points to WRs.

Bears’ Allen Robinson (vs. Lions): Allen Robinson has missed the last couple of games with injury. Even if he returns, Robinson isn’t coming into a strong passing attack for the Bears. Also, he’d be facing Darius Slay, so I’d avoid him this week. The Lions have also allowed just 1,106 yards to WRs, which is the second least amount in the NFL.
