Fantasy Football: Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Recommendations for Week 11

TEs to Start in Week 11

Giants’ Evan Engram (vs. Buccaneers): Among all the weapons on the New York Giants offense, Evan Engram is usually forgotten. Engram is a talented TE, who is essentially a WR playing TE. In Week 10, Engram averaged 9 yards a reception on 4 catches. He gets a Buccaneers defense who struggles against TEs, allowing the 2nd most points to TEs this year.

Steelers’ Vance McDonald (vs. Jaguars): Vance McDonald has become the 3rd option on the Steelers offense. Behind Antonio Brown and Juju Smith-Schuster, McDonald is likely the next target in the Steelers offense. McDonald is coming off a week where he scored 14.4 points in Week 10. He gets the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have allowed 6 touchdowns to TEs (3rd most in NFL).

TEs to Sit in Week 11

Seahawks’ Nick Vannett (vs. Packers): I know most people aren’t starting Nick Vannett, but some people may do so in deeper leagues. I’d look elsewhere for a TE, as Vannett has a bad matchup in Week 11. He has 2 straight weeks where he has scored a touchdown. I believe that streak ends in Week 11, as he faces the Packers, who have yet to allow a touchdown to a TE this year.

Saints’ Benjamin Watson (vs. Eagles): With the TE position being thin in fantasy, it’s hard to say to bench Benjamin Watson. I’d definitely look for another option, as Watson has a bad match up this week. Watson is also coming off a game where he had 1 catch for just 1 yard. He squares off against the Eagles, who allow the 3rd least amount of points to TEs.
