QBs to Start in Week 14
Browns’ Baker Mayfield (vs. Panthers): Baker Mayfield had himself one of those “rookie” weeks in Week 13. He threw for 397 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. The three interceptions cost the Cleveland Browns a victory in Week 13. This week, look for Mayfield to get back on track against the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers have allowed 22 or more points in four out of their last five games.
Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger (vs. Raiders): The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered another disappointing loss in Week 13. Big Ben is slinging the ball around, leading the league with 517 pass attempts. With the injury to James Conner, he’ll likely keep chucking it. The Oakland Raiders have also given up 28 passing touchdowns this season (tied most in NFL).
Cowboys’ Dak Prescott (vs. Eagles): The Dallas Cowboys have looked strong in recent weeks. Dak Prescott has a new weapon in Amari Cooper, who is paying dividends for the Cowboys. Prescott had a nice outing in his last game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10, scoring 21.7 points. The Eagles allow the 11th most points to opposing QBs and have a beat up secondary.
Other QBs I Like: Buccaneers’ Jameis Winston (vs. Saints), Ravens’ Lamar Jackson (vs. Chiefs), Texans’ Deshaun Watson (vs. Colts)
QBs to Sit in Week 14
Lions’ Matthew Stafford (vs. Cardinals): Who is Matthew Stafford even throwing to anymore? It doesn’t matter, he is now fantasy irrelevant this season. Stafford has failed to score more than 17 points since Week 4. It doesn’t get any easier this week as he faces the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals have allowed just 16 passing touchdowns this season (tied 2nd least in NFL).
Eagles’ Carson Wentz (vs. Cowboys): The Eagles don’t look the same this season. After winning the Super Bowl last season, the Eagles and Carson Wentz have struggled. Wentz is coming off a 19.8 point performance in Week 13. He likely won’t see that in Week 14 against the Cowboys. The Cowboys just held Drew Brees to 7.3 points in Week 13.
