WRs to Start in Week 14
Cowboys’ Amari Cooper (vs. Eagles): Amari Cooper is one of the only offensive threats for the Cowboys. With his dominant share of targets, he becomes a safe play in fantasy going forward. Since joining the Cowboys, Cooper has eight or more targets in three out of four games. He faces the Eagles this week, who allow the 2nd most points to WRs this season.
Rams’ Robert Woods (vs. Bears): Robert Woods is one of the most underrated WRs in the NFL. Woods has been one of the most consistent WRs this year, scoring 12 or more points in 11 out of the 12 games he’s played in. The Bears defense actually struggles against WRs, allowing 26 or more points to WRs in 10 out of their 12 games.
Panthers’ D.J. Moore (vs. Browns): D.J. Moore is slowly becoming a nice weapon for the Panthers. With Funchess back, his target share could take a hit though. The thing is, the Panthers lack weapons so I don’t see how they could shy away from using Moore. The Browns allow the eighth most points to WRs this year.
Other WRs I Like: Broncos’ Courtland Sutton (vs. 49ers), Buccaneers’ Chris Godwin (vs. Saints), Bills’ Zay Jones (vs. Jets)
WRs to Sit in Week 14
Eagles’ Alshon Jeffery (vs. Cowboys): Alshon Jeffery has been disappointing this season. After missing the first three weeks, Jeffery has scored 20 or more points three times. All of his other games, he has scored less than 10 points. He has scored less than 10 points in five straight games and I don’t see that changing in Week 13 against the Cowboys. The Cowboys allow the least amount of points to WRs this season.
Titans’ Corey Davis (vs. Jaguars): Corey Davis is the only legitimate threat for the Titans passing game. Davis is in a Titans offense that is inconsistent throwing the ball, which already hurts his value in fantasy. This week’s match up against the Jaguars doesn’t help his case. The Jaguars have allowed just seven touchdowns to WRs this season (least in the NFL).
