TEs to Start in Week 14
Steelers’ Vance McDonald (vs. Raiders): With the TE position being very thin in fantasy, Vance McDonald is a very viable play this week. McDonald has three or more receptions in seven straight games, making him a consistent TE in fantasy. This week he gets the Raiders, who have allowed 896 yards to TEs this year (2nd most in NFL).
Browns’ David Njoku (vs. Panthers): David Njoku has slowed down, since starting hot in Weeks 4-7. Njoku scored 10 or more points in Weeks 4-7, but has scored in double-digits just once since then. He could return to his earlier form against the Panthers. The Panthers have allowed nine touchdowns to TEs this season (tied 2nd most in NFL).
TEs to Sit in Week 14
Buccaneers’ Cameron Brate (vs. Saints): Cameron Brate hasn’t really benefited from the absence of O.J. Howard yet. Brate had a touchdown in Week 12, but has failed to surpass 36 yards in any game this season. The New Orleans Saints defense presents a tough challenge for Brate. The Saints allow the second least amount of points to TEs this season.
Jets’ Chris Herndon (vs. Bills): Chris Herndon has become one of the more trustworthy players on the New York Jets offense. Herndon has scored 10 or more points in four out of his last seven games. For TEs this season, that’s pretty good. He gets a tough match up in Week 13 against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills allow the fifth least amount of points to TEs this season.
