Fantasy Football: Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Recommendations for Week 8

We’ve hit the midway point of the NFL regular season, with us heading into Week 8. All that means is, we are just a mere six or seven weeks until most fantasy leagues have their playoffs.

Roster moves are frantically being made to try to salvage fantasy seasons. Other people are just shoring up their playoff squads.

Injuries are starting to mount up in the NFL, leaving room for key waiver wire pickups to occur.

With the injury to Sony Michel, Kenjon Barner becomes a valuable commodity. The same thing can be said for Chris Ivory, Trenton Cannon, Jalen Richard, etc.

Out of all of those guys I mentioned, I’d want Barner. The New England Patriots love to keep James White fresh for the playoffs. Therefore, they’ll likely hand over the rushing duties to Barner, while White remains strictly the receiving back.

Are you a victim of Julio Jones and his struggles to reach the end zone? Don’t fret, he can’t make you cry this week as he has a bye week. You actually have a better chance getting a touchdown from the guy you put in as a bye week filler anyways.

Now let’s dive into Week 8. My picks are based on PPR (points per reception) scoring. Also, my decisions can be used in season-long leagues or DFS (daily fantasy sports) leagues.
