WRs to Start in Week 8
Vikings’ Stefon Diggs (vs. Saints): The last time Stefon Diggs faced the Saints, we all know what happened. Diggs has become the second option in the Minnesota Vikings offense, behind Adam Thielen. With Marshon Lattimore possibly shadowing Thielen, Diggs could be in for a big week. The Saints allow the most points to opposing WRs.
Bengals’ Tyler Boyd (vs. Buccaneers): Last week, Tyler Boyd disappointed in a good match up. Boyd had just 5.7 points in Week 7 against the Chiefs. I don’t expect him to continue struggling in Week 8 though. The Buccaneers allow the second most points to WRs.
Colts’ T.Y. Hilton (vs. Raiders): In a pass-happy Indianapolis Colts offense, T.Y. Hilton is the best weapon they contain. Hilton came back from injury in Week 7, where he scored 18.5 fantasy points. He only had 25 receiving yards in Week 7, but should be able to bounce back in Week 8. Like I said before, the Raiders are a mess so I’ll play the big name guys from the Colts.
Other WRs I Like: Buccaneers’ Mike Evans (vs. Bengals), Broncos’ Emmanuel Sanders (vs. Chiefs), Browns’ Jarvis Landry (vs. Steelers)
WRs to Sit in Week 8
Eagles’ Nelson Agholor (vs. Jaguars): At this point, if you’re still starting Nelson Agholor, you’re likely in trouble. Agholor has yet to score a touchdown while Carson Wentz has been the QB this season. Since Wentz returned, Agholor’s highest point total is 12.1. This week he goes up against the Jacksonville Jaguars who allow the least amount of points to WRs.
49ers’ Marquise Goodwin (vs. Cardinals): Marquise Goodwin is one of those WRs that relies on the big play to be fantasy relevant. After a 29.1 point performance in Week 6, Goodwin was nonexistent, scoring just 4.4 points in Week 7. He’ll likely struggle again against the Cardinals who have allowed just four touchdowns to WRs this season.
